What we do with what you write to us

The controller of your data is Autolux S.r.l., at the address above. Write to clients@autolux.com about anything on this page.

The enquiry form collects your name, your email address, the country you want the car delivered to, an optional budget band, and whatever you write in the message. That is all of it. There is no tracking, no advertising pixel and no analytics on this site, and the only cookie it sets is the one remembering which language you chose.

We use it to answer you and to take the steps you have asked for before any contract exists — that is the lawful basis, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. We do not profile you, no decision about you is automated, and we do not sell or share your details with anyone outside the suppliers who deliver our email and hold our customer records.

We keep enquiries for 24 months after we last hear from you, then delete them. Contracts and invoices are kept for ten years because tax law requires it.

Your IP address is used to rate-limit the form so it cannot be flooded, and is not stored with your enquiry.

You can ask us at any time for a copy of what we hold, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to what we do with it, or to receive it in a portable form. We answer within a month. If you think we have handled it badly you can complain to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it, or to the authority where you live.

Changing your mind

Because you buy from us at a distance, you have 14 days from the day the car is delivered to you to withdraw, without giving any reason and without penalty. This is your right under the Codice del Consumo; we are not granting it to you and we cannot ask you to waive it.

To withdraw, tell us before the 14 days are up — an email to clients@autolux.com is enough, and so is a letter to the registered office. You can use the form below, but you do not have to; any clear statement that you are withdrawing will do.

We refund everything you paid, including the standard delivery cost, within 14 days of getting the car back or of your proof that you have sent it, whichever comes first. You pay the cost of returning the vehicle, and you are liable for any loss in its value caused by handling it beyond what is needed to establish its nature and condition.

Model withdrawal form — address it to Autolux S.r.l., Via Manzoni 31, 20121 Milano, clients@autolux.com: "I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale for the following vehicle: [reference]. Ordered on / received on: [date]. Name: [ ]. Address: [ ]. Signature (only if on paper): [ ]. Date: [ ]."

03

If something is wrong with the car

Every car we sell you carries the legal guarantee of conformity for 24 months from delivery. A used car is covered exactly as a new one is: what matters is whether the fault was already there when it reached you, not when it showed itself.

If it was, you can have it repaired or replaced at our cost, and if that is impossible or takes too long, you can have the price reduced or the contract undone. For the first year it is assumed the fault was there on delivery unless we can show otherwise.

This sits alongside the manufacturer's warranty where one still runs, and it does not replace it. Tell us at clients@autolux.com — the guarantee is ours to honour, not the exporting dealer's to argue about.

04

Complaints

Write to clients@autolux.com or call the Milano office. We answer complaints within five business days and resolve or explain within thirty.

If that does not settle it, you can go to an accredited ADR body or to the ordinary courts; as a consumer you may sue where you live. The European ODR platform is no longer an option — it was shut down in July 2025 and any site still linking to it is pointing you at a closed door.
